Are all music
teachers
the same?
It is crucial to start your or your child’s musical journey with the right teacher. You do not want to waste a child’s precious years and your money with an unprofessional educator.
With the wrong teacher, children progress very slowly, develop bad habits, lose interest in music, – while parents keep paying for poor instruction without realizing it.
For some parents, “having fun” is the only requirement for their kids’ extracurricular activities. Having fun is important, but it is not enough. Your children should make good noticeable progress in their music education.
Music classes have sprouted up everywhere, with people becoming more aware of early music education’s valuable benefits.
Unfortunately, many of these lessons are being taught by teachers who have no formal music education (gym teachers, preschool teachers, stay-at-home moms, etc.)
Even the well-known national chains give “a music teacher certificate” to people who pay for a three-day course, and whose musical abilities are limited to carrying a tune and clapping out the simple rhythm.
My background is different
My background is different. I studied for eight years in music school, and after passing the rigorous entrance exams, I was accepted into a music college.
I studied piano pedagogy, piano performance, music history, solfeggio, piano accompaniment, playing in duets and ensembles, and other music disciplines in college.
After four years, I graduated with a diploma as a piano performer and a piano teacher.
Words from our happy
parents and students
